Our neighbours welcomed the Lunar New Year of the Dragon at the Post Office Arms.
On Tuesday 13th of February, 16 of our neighbours had fun welcoming the Year of the Dragon and celebrating Lunar New Year at The Post Office Arms with a 3-course dinner.
BGN volunteer William A and his wife Annie prepared the sumptuous meal. The menu included Peking duck spring rolls, Pork and Chive dumplings, Slow-cooked Vietnamese pork, Sweet and sour chicken, Pak Choi in black bean sauce with crystalized fruits and pancakes for dessert.
Thank you to all volunteers who cooked, helped in the kitchen, provided lifts...It was a fabulous evening and the food was gorgeous! Everyone had a great time.
