BGN's Neighbours enjoyed a Waterways Experiences canal boat trip along the Grand Union Canal on August 23rd, a visit to a Garden Centre in Chipperfield on the 1st of September and a musical event “Music for the soul and food for the body” by Robert Hoare on 15th September.
23rd August 2022: Waterways Experiences Canal Boat Trip
On August 23rd, our neighbours enjoyed the second canal boat trip of the summer with Waterways Experiences. One of our volunteers Sophie provided wonderful food with homemade canapés, panna cotta for pudding and a delicious cake. Some of our neighbours had a turn at steering the boat!
1st September 2022: Visit to British Garden Centre in Chipperfield today.
12 Neighbours enjoyed afternoon tea (sandwiches, cakes + cream scones) at the British Garden Centre in Chipperfield. They had great fun. There was lots of chat and time for shopping too. A big Thank-you to all our Volunteers who helped with driving (giving lifts to our neighbours) and being at the venue.
