A group of our neighbours enjoyed a Christmas lunch at The Steam Coach followed by a trip to see 'Dick Whittington' at The Boxmoor Playhouse.
On Sunday the 10th of December 2023 a group of our neighbours were at The Steam Coach in Boxmoor for Christmas lunch. Their Christmas menu started with Carrot and Clementine Soup served with Crusty Bread and Butter followed by 'Traditional Turkey Roast (or Nut Roast) with all the trimmings' and finished with 'Christmas Pudding with Custard or Brandy Sauce' for dessert.
After the sumptuous Christmas lunch they watched the 2.30pm matinee of 'Dick Whittington' by the Hemel Hempstead Theatre Company at The Boxmoor Playhouse.

The X'mas lunch was very good indeed (accompanied with the glass of wine)...promptly and cheerfully served 😊
I really appreciated the care, time and attention to detail that was given by all from BGN ( and the Steam Coach) to make sure we were all enjoying the meal!
The Panto was brilliant! Haven't been to one in years! Just what the doctor ordered! So much fun and laughter ..I think we all need this kind of tonic during the rather bleak and dreary winter days! The Playhouse artists were great and a wonderful time was had by all!👏🏻👏🏻
