Last week our neighbours were treated to a delicious meal from COOK Berkhamsted donated as part of their COOK Kindness Fund Christmas 2020.
Will it be Shepherds Pie, Lasagne Al Forno, Roasted Vegetable Lasagne, Lamb Casserole with New Potatoes, Hearty Chicken Casserole, Halloumi and Arrabbiata Pasta Bake or Cottage Pie?
Last week our neighbours who were self-isolating were treated to a meal from COOK Berkhamsted donated as part of their COOK Kindness Fund Christmas 2020.
'The COOK Kindness Fund has been giving free meals and treats to people in need since the start of lockdown in March. Our original target was to distribute 100,000 free meals and, thanks to your help, we set up partnerships with hospitals, care homes, food banks and local community groups to help those struggling due to the covid-19 crisis.
We hit our target in June, since when we’ve continued to give meals through a smaller number of partners and have now reached more than 130,000 meals given.
With this Christmas set to be difficult for many we’re setting aside another 50,000 meals to give to local people in need through the Kindness Fund.'
