Boxmoor Good Neighbours celebrated the Christmas season with lunch at The Three Blackbirds Boxmoor.
The last event for 2021 was a festive one when a group of our neighbours enjoyed a traditional Turkey lunch with all the trimmings and a glass or two of refreshment served by the attentive staff at the Three Blackbirds.
We were entertained by Dean who sang seasonal songs and engaged us all with a quiz and his jokes. Dean works at The Great Ormond Street Hospital and is a source of great inspiration to us all. Spencer Bunce, on behalf of all our neighbours, handed a donation for The Great Ormond Street Hospital to Dean.
Our neighbours were also given a small gift of a tub moisturising cream (Dove) from one of our volunteers.
Our neighbours departed in a festive mood, having had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.
